FC Barcelona will renew their rivalry with Athletic Bilbao in a
Spanish La Liga match at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys on 22 October.
Current Form
Barca were held to a 2-2 draw by Granada CF as the champions extended their unbeaten run to nine games in the Spanish top-flight.
Barcelona are also undefeated in their last five home matches in La Liga having recorded five successive wins and they are now using Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys as their temporary home ground.
Meanwhile, Bilbao thrashed UD Almeria 3-0 at home on 6 October as they snapped their two-match winless run in La Liga.
The Lions lost to Real Sociedad in their last away match in this competition and the defeat ended their four-match winless run on the road.

Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Jules Kounde and Pedri are on the Barcelona injury list and the Catalan giants have no suspension concerns.
On the other hand, the Bilbao trio of Nico Williams, Yeray Alvarez and Mikel Vesga are out injured and the club has no suspension issues.

"The plan you have in your head is for everything to work out well, to dominate and score goals," Bilbao manager Ernesto Valverde said after his side's win over Almeria.
"That's what we did, although it's true we could have settled the match much quicker. We wanted to get back to winning ways and it was a complete performance.

Barcelona emerged as 3-1 winners over Bilbao in their last meeting in La Liga and the game took place at the Estadio San Mames on 12 February 2023.
The win extended Barca's unbeaten run to seven league matches against the Lions having registered six wins and one draw.
